Guys I'm sorry that you all had to watch the collective hardwork of the group crumble as I clicked "Extended to other monitors" today. In self reflection I see what my mistake was! It was the fact that I hadn't closed the UDk before clicking that and it has done that to me once in the past. I promise you that the level will be rebuilt by myself & Pete & it will not be a rushed rebuild this time. I feel like I've let everyone down but on a positive side it was great to see "everyone" pull together.
Also starting a sketching challange tommorow called the "30 Day Superhero challange" which is basically 30 days & 30 sketches of Heroes or Superheroes. They can be from comics, Movies or video games. There's only two rules really 1) Do one everyday 2)Miss a day draw two the next day & so fourth. No idea if it'll be a success but it should break up the monotamy of writing if anyone is interested in joining in?

apologies
i must apologise for my lack of a) input and b) enthusiasm over the past couple of weeks. ive been off due to health reasons and im only just back on track. ive started modelling now albeit not great assets but its something to go in the level. heres my front door to the hardware store if it offends anyone i can easily change it. ive also modelled some basic shelving and a counter and till for the hardware store following a layout i felt appropriate for the space.
All in a days work





Right, levels comming into its final stages now. Alot of work still needs doing but Im doing a few more things to it and then I'm waiting for the rest of the work. I've got my own textures I need to finish for some assets and a few things to rejig with some of Nathans stuff. If you haven't done anywork in the past couple of weeks email me or drop me a line, it's important. This is a group project.

Bill Please


I've modelled a fridge. It's about 80% completly modelled now. I need to add shelves and the little engine at the back and that will bring me squarely upto my polycount. The wires are suprisingly nice and clean and that's thanks to Stas telling me which areas to clean up the other day. It has been a fun asset to make and I'm hoping I can get it textured in time for the end of this level, if not then it will definetly be done for the end of year show.

baracade
I finally finished the barricade texture. sorry it so long but i just got demotivated with the project like everyone else seems to have. anyway done the def. spec. normal and alpha map for it and its all uploaded on drop box. the barb wire is also done and in the same folder. im not sure if the barb wire will need to be removed from the barricade and imported as a separate asset. if so just delete it out of the barricade max file before you export it as a .ase.
ermm anyway if possible it'd b good to know what is left that needs to be done for the project.

COME ON CHAPS!
Hey guys, we need to get this thing moving because at this rate we're not going to be finished. I don't mean to sound like an arsehole but get stuff done, get it on here and then get it on Dropbox. I know we're all rife with demotivation but you can't give that as an excuse in industry. We've all produced some great work so far and I know that we can produce a hell of alot more. This is beneficial to yourself and not one of you have produced something we cant use in the level right now. You all did great work in the beginning so lets get that going again, the first few steps against demotivation are tough but you know you'll make awesome peices if you work at it.

Blackhole supernova
UDK has decided to stop running...And I mean stop running as in it won't run off the latest .netframework. It just crashes as it opens. I'm working on fixing this but at the moment it's a bit of a set back if I can't!

The level will be a video, wether it is streaming or cinema style all depends on what I can get done over the next few days. I don't mean to be rude or cheeky here but we need to set a deadline date for the assets, preferably for a week next wedensday allowing us three days of refinement on the textures and stuff. Someone also needs to decide if they're making textures for the level, if they aren't then I will do the floors and the buildings.
