Open Says-me!

Arcade Doors are now modelled and the file is up on Dropbox. Just need to work on the unwrap and texture maps, then i'll move on to the Hardshaw Centre background piece.

Beautiful Enviromentalz




I'm starting to feel the effects of working like a machine and it's tiring. I'm doing assets left right and center, I'm constantly tweaking things in the UDk, I'm texturing in PS and unwrapping assets too. The levels starting to get more populated now guys but someone desperately needs to model the large buildings that go a little closer around the edges of the level. The rest of you need to carry on and do some texturing too so we can see what we've got here!

Curently unwrapping the church. so far i have done the side with the steps. not taken me to long so i think i can have it Unwrped and ready for texturing on wednesday.

LevellyBits






Screenshots from the level guys, let's crack on. This weekend Ive got a few things to model and Dans work to do, we're on course for being awesome here, these screenshots say it all really.












Added a bulitin board to the modle as well as near enough finishing the church. Need to sort out the smoothing groups as well as add a few drain pipes to the modle then it should be ready for texturing.

after this buzz from yesterday im very sorry about this, ive lost my phone (again) somewhere and its the thing i use for an alarm clock. my mum did know that i lost it so didnt know she needed to wake me this morning before she went work and ive only just woke up now, im sorry to let you all down :(. ill continue work with the lighting i was set to do and perhaps the till and clockface aswell :(

We're still AWESOME!

Well today was an eye opener and a good one. I think we came away from the presentation with a damn sight more than we went in with. A bit of extra work we weren't expecting but it's a step in the right direction. Tommorow will be the start of our level, meshes will go in, we'll make the big important things and the lighting stages will begin. Everyones done great stuff so far and we've only just begun so come on guys lets keep this pace and this level of work up and we'll have an awesome level at the end of this.

Normal mapped bench is ready to go. Wouldn't have minded having more chance to work on it over the weekend thats past, but it's best to move on to other assets.

My work for the day


I've done two modular buildings too but the unwraps were unholy so I dbout I'll be putting them in. Not alot done today I know and I'm sorry but I promise I'll catch up tommorow when I've got the class morale behind me. Also been tidying up my work for Dan.

Here ya go guys. I updated the texture on the bench I made. It's missing a Normal since I've been having trouble getting the Nvidia filter added onto my copy of Photoshop, but still, here it is:-

I would've been done with this quicker, but I haven't really had chance to work on anything properly over the weekend, so sorry about that. I'll make up for it over the course of this week and get working on the other assets i've been assigned, no doubt about that.

Clocking Off






Here ya go guys! the designs for my tower sorted, done two different models variants of each other, basically choose which ever you prefer and which ever gets the nod will be getting smashed up which will be agonising to see the thing that took ages to make get broken apart, but destruction is fun just the same :) its like playing with lego!

Tower

Right guys i wasnt well before but now ive made a start on the tower just posting this screenie to show the scale ive started at, what im gonna do is model it and get the shape, then cut the hell outa that thing and put it on the ground

Apologies

Hey guys, I was ill yesterday with some sort of bug thats now infecting everyone in the surrounding area, but I seem to be on the mend today. Bit of a headache and haven't eatten anything. I'm going to get the UDK file up on Dropbox, for those of you that don't have it yet I recommend you get Dropbox ASAP. I should be in tommorow and Ill be spending today doing Dans stuff so that I can focus on modelling and working on the map tommorow. If everyone could create thier collisions then we can get the meshes into the map tommorow and start building this level properly.

Again, I'm sorry and I'll catch up with my workload before Thursday.
